Couldn't load pickup availability
This natural dashi is made from dried bonito flakes from Kagoshima, dried sardines from Nagasaki, Japanese shiitake mushrooms, and kelp from Hokkaido, with no artificial seasonings, preservatives, added flavor, or salt. The fish used are crushed and packaged in a bag with both nutrition and taste intact. As soon as you open the bag, the soft and rich aroma of the ingredients spreads. The dashi broth also retains its flavor and can be used for further cooking. The dashi pack comes in a non-woven tetra pack that maximises the use of the product volume compared to conventional square packs, making it easy to make clear and delicious dashi at home.
Recommended Serve and Use
Put water and dashi packet in a pot (400ml water for 1 packet), turn on the heat, bring to a boil, simmer over medium heat for 2 minutes, then turn off the heat and remove the dashi pack. Add seasonings of your choice to taste to enjoy. You can also use the contents of the pack as is for furikake (sprinkled on rice) or stir-fry.

Founded in 1885 as a store specializing in dried bonito flakes. Since then, we have continued to make Katsuobushi using traditional methods. Kyuemon's commitment and duty is to take the time, care, and skill to make the best use of the wonderful material of dried bonito. Our products, which make the most of the "dashi" (soup stock) that only a store specializing in dried bonito can offer, do not use chemical seasonings or preservatives, but rather take full advantage of the flavor of the ingredients.
